Every night before I go to bed I go and smooch my gorgeous babies. They are so scrumptious when they are all snuggled up in bed and there is a certain amount of truth in the saying that you love your kids a little more when they are asleep.
David really likes to snuggle them too. He will go so far as to actually pick Abbey up and cuddle her, breathing in her yummy babyness.
He talks to them too. I usually whisper a quiet "I love you" in their ear but David likes to have a full conversation with them. I would be petrified I might wake them but he is fearless.
Last night he was enjoying a snuggle with Abbs when he whispered "Love you Abbey".
And do you know what that precious munchkin said ?
"Love Mum !!!"

You seem to have a lovely family! My two daughters are now grown up, but we have a very warm, close relationship. I have one darling left at home, a 15-year old boy, plus my husband and two cats.
